In times like this, there is no doubt we will be surrounded by lingering questions as will it ever get back to normal, when can we go back to normalcy, what is the new normal, what is the future going to be like, and many others. All these lingering questions represent the uncertainties in the current time and honestly nobody has an answer for it. Focusing on uncertainties enable our minds to focus on the uncontrollable and thus creating restlessness, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue and many others.
It is now even more important for us to build RESILIENCE. Resilience is our ability to adapt and bounce back when things don’t go as planned. Resilient people don’t dwell on failure; instead they acknowledge the situation, learn from their mistakes and move forward. It also refers to one’s ability to adapt to stressful situations or crises. It helps us to deal with stress and uncertainties by being aware and present.
